My 2 yr old weimeriener is having trouble around puppied in the field. She does well by herself or with older dogs. The last two times we went out with a puppy (one a lab, the other a weim) she got rattled and jumped into the truck. When I got her out she took off and would not listen to commands. This is not normally how she reacts. I have had her around other youg dogs. My inlaws have 2 golden doodle puppies and she is perfectly fine with them.
Has anyone ever heard of this problem before?

She felt overwhelmed with 2 dogs in her space, in a field. This is not unusual at all for a young pup. Be careful not to push pup too hard/too fast.

Do your Golden Doodle friends know how big those puppies will get - at least as high as a standard bred poodle.
