Puppy Barking
Well Pick up day finally came and went on the 1st, and the little guy is 7 weeks old now. Out in the yard he will lock up when he sees the robins on the ground but will then bark at them. At what point should I start to be concerned about the barking?

Wouldn't worry about it for awhile. 7 weeks is very young, at least he's interested in them! Let him play and have fun

I would NEVER worry about it, especially at such a young age. Train the dog and use that natural instinct to hunt what you want it to hunt and forget what it does outside of the field. Barking at the Robins leads me to think that you have "pressured" him that this is something you dont like.
I have dogs that will point lizards around the house but they still compete in Field Trials.

When he begins to point on scent instead of sight I bet the barking will stop
