Training Day in Utah
Critter Control and I headed out with some friends for a quick training session today. I was late, so I missed out on getting some pics of Shatzi (at least that's what I'm calling Zim's new pup) and Jonesy.
I am looking forward to getting out more and polishing up the dogs.
Meecham points with a nice double back from Hootch and Heidi.
Hootch and Heidi on that back, another view.
Hootch. Nice.
Heidi points, Hootch on a back.
Heidi on a nice point.
Cowboy points, Cooper backs.
Cowboy shows us how pretty those long tail dogs are.
Tex hoping that tail will go up just a little higher.
Hootch. "I know that bird is close, it has to be here somewhere."
Heidi (Sorry Tex, I think that's Heidi) with a demonstration on Staunchness.
The misfits. Spooner and a Jack Russell Terrier named Phantom.
Cowboy makes a retreive.

Something funny happened when Cowboy found this planted bird. See that ice sheet behind him? He was running top speed. He came over that ice and smelled that bird. He tried to turn quick and ended up on his side. He slid a good 5 feet, got up, stepped off the ice and pointed. I wish I would have had that on video.
