Bells Video

Post by grant » Sun Mar 13, 2005 10:27 am

Here’s a video I took when training Bell. I just put about 3 birds out at a time in a 10 acre area. Lindsay laughed her head off at me when she saw me filming while I was shooting in the video. Its not great video either. Walking and filming up those N. Ga hills is hard! On Bell’s first point, the wind was blowing hard. She pointed that bird about 30-40 yards out. Look close at her nose and mouth and you can see her trying catch a better sent. Anyway, maybe next time I’ll get someone else to film. Regardless it makes for good entertainment. If your not using DSL/Cable, you might need to right-click and save the video, let it finish downloading, then watch it.

Thanks Kevin! She's alright for a couch dog I guess... I'm waiting on Kage to come from behind and whip that tail for her. =)

If anyone wants to make their own videos, I'll give you ftp access to upload them. I think their fun to watch =) If you've got the camera, its pretty easy to make them... Let me know if I can help.

Grant, I've got some video of Gracie pointing and retrieving a chukar in DV format shot with a Canon GL2. Let me know what format to convert it to and what size and I'll gladly upload it.

Thanks,

Eric

I can do either format. I think my editing software has a format for internet viewing. Is there a file size you'd like me to stay under?

Yes, I have FTP software.

Thanks,

Eric
