Actually, I collar break my dogs and force them to perform all obedience commands and ff.

I've always felt that first you teach a dog what you want, then to make it reliable, you force it to do it.
I agree. That's because 'training' isn't just one thing. It's a cycle; teach, force, reinforce. For many, the problem with understanding that is that often wrong assumptions are made about the terms "force" and "reinforce".
