I have the sport combo G3. Although I am very happy with it; thinking about it now. I was already dropping a sizable chunk of cash I should have just saved a few more weeks and spent the extra $180 on the Pro 100 with the extra features and extra range.

I bit the bullet and picked up the Pro 100.

It's a long-term invenstment IMO.

Same goes for releasers......I bought a pair of Dogtra releasers and had some serious "buyer's remorse" but that went away after I started using them!! They're REALLY quiet/quick and now that I'm using them, I'm glad I didn't skimp.....

I have the sport combo and am pretty happy with it. My main issue is the dial. It could stand to be a little wider and rubberized to make it easier to turn with your thumb without looking at it. The Sportdog transmitters are much better in that regard.

It's a nice setup, but if I did it over again, I'd probably get the Pro 100.

Go with the Pro 100. It is better to have the range and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I'm very happy with my Pro 100. I put it on my dog every time we do something fun such as a walk. She gets excited when I pull it out and she willingly puts her head in while I hold it open.

I use the tone button to turn her and multiple tones to call her back.

i have a G3 that now sits in a drawer collecting dust. the half mile range was nothing, especially if you get into cover. bought a G2 and have been 100% satisfied.

Pro 100 all the way. Great range and the dial and buttons very easy to use.
