Chain Gang?
Need to build a chain gang before this weekend...got to many dogs to be pounding individual stakeouts.
Can anyone point me to directions/measurements for building a chain gang?
Thanks

Re: Chain Gang?
18 inch chains snap on each end
put them every 6 feet on main chain put pups and little dogs near the ends bigger more boisterous ones in the middle
Drop cord reels keep them organized in the truck get them at home depot

Be sure to use swivel snaps on your drops.

Re: Chain Gang?
I used a barrel swivel to attach each drop to the main line. Half the chance of a dog busting a snap swivel and getting free.
I clip the drops back to their line swivel and pile them gently into a 2 gallon bucket. Almost never get a tangle.

I have a a 20' 300lb chain connected to 2 stakes i made out of heavier rebar Welded a metal Oring (actually a big washer) so i could snap my chain to the stake. I keep my 4 dogs on it.

Re: Chain Gang?
I should think 2/0 passing link chain would do you just fine up to about seven or eight dogs per chaingang.
Passing link chain is designed to minimize kinking and knottng.
