Thanks to ff I have Drake holding real birds in his mouth again. He doesn't particularly like it but it's a start. I'll post pictures next training session we have. I am so happy. He will even let me walk away, for like 10 seconds, but that is fine for now.
Eventually he should be back and retrieving the right way. Thanks for all those suggestions and tips guys I am seeing a hunter in Drake again.
