Trainers in NJ

Post by On Point » Sun Mar 28, 2010 5:53 pm

Hi all,

I know we all live all over the place, but does anyone know of any good trainers in NJ, preferably the central NJ area? Maybe a training club/facility? The english setter club is a little too for me to be able to spend some quality time down there.

Any help or first hand experience would be great

I work for a training facility/shooting preserve in Dover De. (marshtown.net)

I also use a fella on the eastern shore of Virginia (stockley kennels).

Pm me if you would like some contact names and numbers.
The second kick from a mule is of very little educational value - from Wing and Shot.

Daniel Burjan is in Flemington, NJ.

He trains mostly continental breeds but he is an accomplished trainer and can do what you need with any pointing breed i am sure. They have a preserve and game farm at that location also, at least they used to.

Even though its a GSP club, you may want to contact Eastern GSP Club. They are in the Flemington/Lambertville area.

There are also two NAVHDA clubs nearby...

IT might not be a bad drive for you to cross the river into PA and check out Pete DeAngelis at www.longviewkennels.com You wouldn't find a better trainer if your looking for a broke stylish Bird dog.

I couldn't agree more with mudhunter. Pete's the best. He's done right by me and my dogs for years.

He is Monmouth/Ocean county. I have no first hand experience with him but two friends have used him and were happy.
