The game is fun again, and all the puzzle pieces are falling into place. Here's the photographic results from this morning. I know these are probably common images to a lot of folks on here, but I still get a little excited to see my pup put on a display.

Good thing I had my trusty Moto E815 with me in my pocket. Without this cell phone I don't think I'd ever have pictures, I always forget my good camera.

Nice pics. He is looking really intense which is beutiful to see. Don't think you ever get tired of it even if it isn't your dog.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Now that's one fine looking "Hungarian Shorthair"... :D

i don't think that kind of image ever gets common for any of us, or we would not own these dogs. i could not tell you how many thousands of points i have seen, but it still makes me look. and hurry up, cause that bird might not wait forever.

Thanks for the nice words! He is getting more and more intense with every bird; more and more sure about what he's supposed to do and that he's doing a good job of it. This is a dog that gives so much expression in his face that it's almost too easy to read exactly what he's thinking (which is a good thing for me).

As for being a "hungarian shorthair"... well, I bet he's starting to think he is a gsp. He's the only V that goes out and trains alongside about 10 shorthairs each time we're out at the preserve. My guess is that he's probably wondering why he's the only shorthair out there that's rust colored.

I doubt that. I would guess he is pretty sure he is the special one. At least I would if I were him.

Makes my heart start up, hands get sweaty, yesturday was last day of hunting and I am going thru withdrawl. Gotta go to a preserve, gotta go to a preserve. A rock solid point like that can only mean a bird :) get ready for the flush.

Very nice point, very nice lookin dog. He should hunt all day long for you.

I have to say.....I have watched dogs point all day long, day in and day out for years........ It never gets boring! The next one is always nicer than the last too, and always brings a smile to my face!

Nice shot Steven! Keep up the good work! Keep taking pictures!

I can see it now... I'm going to have to get a fancy camera. There's just no way getting around it. Maybe not today... maybe not tomorrow...

Yep, the shutterbug bit me. "Need-a-new-HQ-digi-cam" disease hasn't fully set in yet, but I think I'm displaying the early symptoms.
