Winter Training???

Post by sweetsong » Sat Mar 04, 2006 2:33 pm

Hi All,

For all of you that live in the great white north. What kind of training do you do when it is cold and with lots of snow on the ground? This winter here in Minnesota has been mild, but I was just wondering what some of you have done other winters.

Thanks

Guess one good thing about were I live is we have not seen much snow in years and this past week it has been a trainers dream. A couple of days it tried to reach 50, no dust and moist ground! Today the wind will cut to the bone, thats if you don't get blown away!

My wife would love to move some place warm. She hates the winters up here!! I kinda like the winter, snowmobile riding, cross country skiing, and ice fishing. But it can get cold.

We got some snow this winter. As long as it wasn't too bitter and we could walk through the stuff, we trained. If it was too high (over a few inches) though, we just hibernated.

I got some pictures of some dogs on point in the snow somewhere...

It really depends if the mount is a wild bird or pen raised.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Depends on where you put them.
