Looking For an AZ Trainer...

Post by PointingQuail » Sun Mar 20, 2011 1:22 am

I'll be headed to Europe for a few months this summer and am in need of a pro trainer to take on my 9 mo old pointing lab. He is a good pup with natural point but I'm awful at training and will also be gone for some time. I have talked to a couple already and liked them but am hoping to fine more to choose from. Please let me know of those trainers to talk to and those to stay away from. Anywhere in the southwest will do. PM me if you really feel I should steer clear of someone as to keep this thread from getting offensive.

Thanks,

Brad

Put your dog with K9 this summer. She will do you a good job. She posts here so she should see your post.

Starlight kennels in southern ca is about 5 hours away and have heard nothing but good things. He has some great training grounds and will grain for upland and water.

Another option would be the Raney Ranch near Julian, California.

Maybe he deals with labs... but I would send a lab with a own guy and a pointing breed with a pointing breed trainer.
