Pleased with pup

Post by dlfl » Mon Apr 18, 2011 9:58 am

I got a boykin spaniel pup in December when he was 12 weeks old. I am pleased with him beyond what I had expected. He is running double retrieves and short blind retrieves quite well.

I hear they have a sense of humor and are full of mischief also

Hunted over a Boykin for the first time last fall during a pheasant hunt. He was only 8 month old, but what a great little dog. He made some tough retrieves, and found and flushed quite a few birds. I was his first time on wild birds. He owner was thrilled, and I was pretty impressed with the little guy. Good luck with your pup!
