Just came in from training with Timber (GSP). I had been doing some pigeon work with him in the spring and spent the summer working with him on some "manners" training and also got my quail pen together. Well about a week ago I got 15 birds and released two of them today. Long story short, we got 7 points out of the 2 birds and 4 of these points were in my mind tough ones. We started with working the birds in a broom sedge field then the birds flew into some dense pine and my boy kept nosing them out. Needless to say, I am a proud papa today! Going to start working on getting him used to the gun now and I think we will be on our way to a long hunting relationship!
