Your reference books

Post by M Bouthillette » Sun Sep 30, 2012 8:05 am

Hello, I'm new here and to the game of training pointers. Since I'm looking to start next spring, I would like to start be reading all I can on different training methods. That's what I did before I started training retrievers and found that it was a great help. So here is my question, if you had to refer three books on training pointers, what would they be ? ( if it's relevent, I'm looking into a Griggon Korthals (looking for a dog that will hunt deep covers and stay close to me))

Thank you in advance

The "orange book" gets great reviews. http://www.ahdc.org/ahdcsite/storeitems.php Other than that one I am not too sure as I am into flushing books with my Springer.

I'll start with that, but will look into the last references as well.
