I'm new to this forum having just joined today and I'm impressed by the knowledge and the willingness of everyone to share their thoughts and opinions.
I have a 2 year old GSP, last trip to the vet she weighs in at 59#
I've been looking for a roading harness but there is so much to chose from. I was hoping to get some input from those who are more experienced.
I've looked at GDS, LCS, DU and others. My thought is I'd like to go leather but if nylon is a better way to go I'm open to it. at the moment I'm considering the K9 H Harness....
Thoughts and opinions are much appreciated
Nick

A limit on the strap is nice, but the kill has nothing to do with tradition.

Re: Roading Harness ?
I bought Biothane roading harnesses about ten years ago and never fregretted it. They are indestructible and require ZERO maintenance. They look pretty much the same as they did when i bought them.
Leather is great, and when the harness is new it looks terrific, but it dries, hardens, cracks and rots. you need to treat it with neatsfoot oil at least every year.
Biothane stays flexible, and if it gets run over a with a 4 wheeler or stomped into the ground by a horse, You hose it off and you are good to go. I suppose you could do a treatment with Armor All if you liked 'em shiny.
There are several suppliers of these harnesses, i suggest you buy a full adjustable padded design if you are going to use it for pulling. You buy one and you got it...for life.
