dummy training

Post by 8chev5 » Fri Mar 15, 2013 12:15 pm

Hello I am new to training and was wondering how to get your dog to stop
Violently shaking dummys without punishing her for
Bringing it to me

There's an outfit that sells training dummies that have a hard head attached to the body by a short length of cord. They are made to look like an actual bird, not just a "bumper". Their ads state that the dog will "self train" not to shake the dummy since the dog will end up clouting itself with that hard head. I have no idea whether they work or not, but the idea behind it seems sound. I can't recall the name of them right now, but maybe a Google search can get it for you. If I remember I'll surely post.

Once Obedience is solid, it's time for Force Fetch ---- FF will be your answer to proper mouth habits (among many more benefits).

Be sure to follow your game plan --- page by page, chapter by chapter -- don't jump around.
Stay on one segment until it's solid and then move on to the next.
