Gun Dog Supply! The best! They have the best prices and I had an issue ($20) and they went above and beyond to take care of me for a measly $20. They could have gave me the run around and not messed with me. Gun Dog ships fast, they follow up by email and phone call and shipping was like 4.95 on one order, my second order shipping was free. Good luck

gun dog supply does a wonderful job. Great prices, Great products, but the two things that separate them from the other suppliers is their service and dedication to the field trial sport!

GDS for me. They only laugh at you a little bit when you accidently order a Chiuaua size collar with a name plate that says "BEAR" on it and it needs to be returned. I guess if their customer service wasn't so good he would of had a nice bracelet.

GDS is great. I do like to throw a bone to the small local guy on occasion though (www.flushandpoint.com)
You could live without a dog, but it would not be worthwhile.

www.collarclinic.com Check out this site.

Looks like I'm in the minority in recommending LCS. :)
Nothing against GDS, I just thought you'd be interested in shopping and comparing.

I see no problem with buying a used ecollar, I have, and would again.
I have English Pointers because they don't ever grow up either...

Calihunt,
I'd give some serious consideration to the new, yet to be released, Garmin/Tritronics Delta Sport. There are several features that will really be a benefit and it may save you money in the long run. But you will have to wait a week or two to buy one as they were not released when I checked yesterday.

First, it's $250. Not cheap, but not a pro level collar cost either
Second, it's a training collar and barking collar in one. Barking collars cost $80-100 by themselves. That says you are only paying $150 for your training collar, if you were going to need a bark collar too.

Other features such as the ability to use multiple buttons set at any selectable stimulation level, independantly, is a huge advantage if you train with "notfication" then "correction" methods like Hickox trains.

The Delta Sport also has lithium ion batteries that will go months without a recharge.

Basically, the Delta Sport does more than my $450 Tritronics Pro 100 G3 EXP will do, plus is a barking collar that I had to pay another $100 for. Frankly, I'm going to buy a Delta Sport myself and probably sell off the other gear for more than the Delta Sport costs.
