Training In Eastern NC

Anyone know good areas to go to train their dogs in eastern NC? I'm in onslow county and the rules/ regulations on where you can or cant use pen raised quail and pigeons to train dogs is confusing. Any guidance on areas you can to to do that?

Cant legally release any birds on NC gamelands, so you would need to find private land. Can't say its never happened. I'd trying find a preserve that might work out some sort of deal with ya.
