Picture is to big. All I see is the back of a Ford pickup!
I pity the man that has never been loved by a dog!

Might lead to sight pointing if you keep training like that. At least hide the wing In some bushes.

Although I agree to putting the wing up, there are so many other things that are important for him to learn at this stage, and it can lead to him becoming sticky, not hunting. But I have never understood the fear about their learn to sight pointing. The best dogs use 3 of their sences to point; scent, sight, and hearing.

Enjoy the dog & the journey.

I agree, put the wing away for good. We know she had plenty of point at 8 weeks.... time for birds, birds, and more birds and no/zero/none pressure around them for now. Let the birds do the teaching until she shows you she is ready for you to give her some of your expectations. Back yard training for now should consist of general obedience and manners when away from live birds.

Keep in mind most here have her best interests at heart, so take what you can from the responses to your posts and don't get worked up over all the other things that come with the www.

As the breeder, I am always willing to help.... just a phone call away!
