Looking for a good trainer

Post by SouthernGWP » Sat Jan 18, 2014 3:14 pm

I am new to breeding and training GWP's. Looking for a good trainer in the southeastern US. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks much.

Maurice Lindley of Lindley Kennels. He is on this forum as Maurice I believe. He is a great great trainer and does a huge amount of mentoring along with Martha Greenlee to help educate others how to train their dogs. He has a training book out named "Training With Mo".

Brenda Roe of Walnut Hill Kennels is also on this forum as snips. She is an exceptional trainer as well.

Walnut Hill Kennels in Lafayette GA: Brenda Roe & Rick Hopkins

They also happen to own FC Wilson's Famous Amos SH -- a very fine GWP.

whom ever you choose, make sure they have experience with the breed. Maurice does and Brenda certainly does as well. They aren't GSPs with long hair!

That is a really good joke/statement, most think, and treat, like they are. Thanks Jonesy
