When shooting training birds..
What states require steel or some other form of Non-toxic shot to use? and what states require the same when hunting upland game?

Well in MN, you can use lead on private land. On public land it depends... Areas designated at waterfowl areas generally make non-toxic shot a requirement...

I use lead for upland game on the same grounds where I have to use non-tox for waterfowl. Makes no sense but hey, we have to obey laws.
