Best Bark Collar

Post by mboss » Thu Apr 21, 2016 5:32 pm

Hello. I am looking for bark limiting collar for 18 mo. old GSP. I know the old Tri-Tronics is the best, but they replaced it with a Garmin which I have read some very mixed reviews on. Is there something better out there?

I use the DT system mini for my JRT. 3 years and no problems. Uses batteries, but I only change them twice ? a year. Once the dog gets used to it, a battery isn,t even needed. They learn. :-) ( There are DT collars available for larger dogs.)

I ended up going with the Sport Dog SBC 10R and I have to say I'm very pleased with it. I bought a second one for my fiances mutt dog. Sharon he figured it out in about 15 minutes. Hasnt' barked since. I think another week and he'll be ready to keep it turned off.
