First wild point and hold
Re: First wild point and hold
Well your screwed now. You'll be expecting that every time! Your Bodie's first bird, the pigeon, reminds me of a friend's Duke. I had Duke about a year till My buddy could take him home. First bird I shot for him was about similar. I shot the bird with a different dog, Duke had not been shot around at that point. Brought the bird to him and let him smell it then tossed it for him. Little rat ran over and picked it up and ran away as fast as he could. We followed along to see what he's do and he got a few hundred yards off and buried the thing under a sage brush, them he came back! Dug it up and tried again but this time with the Doo on a check cord! He did it just right after that! I do miss that little guy, GSP!
I pity the man that has never been loved by a dog!

Still gives me great pleasure to see a young dog do that. Enjoy.isonychia wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4dgq_TYdOo
