Great dog!
By not having homing pigeons an assistant or a place to shoot that isn't an hour or more away I would have to figure out a little different procedure.
What I do have is a decent field that often has wild quail and dove in it so I do get to work him on wild birds year round but it isn't a totally controlled situation and no birds are dropping, unfortunately being by myself it's hard to work him on holding while I flush the birds.
I have lots to think about and I appreciate your reply!
