I have trained many pups the basic commands but nothing on hunting. Reading everything I can find on that subject with no luck on a good book about it. Any recommendations?
Got a springer and the only hunting I can do now is sitting under that shade tree shooting passing doves. Too old to be walking those pastures. I just want to train to find and retrieve
My buddies say I got the wrong breed. They all have labs.

Thanks Sharon. I got to tell you, this is a great forum, spent hours reading the tips and such on training! Lots of great questions and answers . I may not waste any more cash on books.
