Training recall and name
I worked with a local trainer and was amazed with owners that would bring their pup to be trained as a bird dog. The dogs would not even know their name and had "0" recall. This is very elementary and can be trained at home. If you have money to burn, go ahead and pay $50.00 per hour to teach here or come, but it seems like a huge waste of time.

Lots of people out there that believe they will hurt their dog's feelings if they don't allow the dog to do whatever it wants whenever it wants.
They can pay $50 an hour to have the dog trained to come when called and it still won't come to them when they call it. It will mind the dog trainer, but has no reason to mind an owner who won't provide leadership.
