Let's get it rolling.........

How about the weather forecast for this weekend?

Should I start measuring in cubits?

As of right now we're under a flood watch hopefully it will stay up north a little but it doesn't look like it will. The grounds have been pretty wet for the last couple of weeks so any more will just make bigger ponds to go through. Saturday they're forecasting rain and snow.

Let's hope not, we have not got to run our young broke dogs because of the wet birds so let's just declare that it not rain again there for a while.

Ken,
I am 90 miles south of there and we had rain off & on all day and kind of windy 15-20 mph, as for the trial grounds I would go to say it was much of the same, I do know they had quite a bit more rain the last few days compared to us, I know there are a few guys that live right there maybe they will chime in on how it went, but my guess is it was very wet grounds, overcast with drizzles and sat morning was like 20 degrees here at home. If I hear anything I will let you know.

Mr. Rock told me that it was kinda cold and windy and little rain, one small snow squall was all. Not to bad is what he said.

I finally got to talk to Rich and J R got 3rd in a big derby, he had 8 broke finds in a 20 minute stake.

I guess the pup is broke.

8 broke finds in a derby? Let me guess he got third cause he found to many birds? Jerry do you know any other placements?
Thanks,
Chip.

Chip

Toad won it and Jill was 4th, all of those are Barber, Lynn owns them, I do not know the 2nd place dog. Was Jill there and in the ???????????

Rich said after J R found the 1st bird, every direction he sent him in he was on another bird. * finds in a 20 minutes stake. K Hawk has 25 one time in 55 minutes with one he could not collect. Found every bird in the country.

OGD Winner

Post by Elroy's Bandit » Tue Apr 15, 2008 9:57 pm

Cadens Bandit won the OGD.
While my dogs have run, my first time actually in the field. it was an awesome experience. Thanks to John & Dennis who have done a great job with Bandit over the winter. it's amazing to watch him come along as he has since the fall. I'm relatively new to all this, but I'm hooked. Look forward to Palo this weekend.

I spoke with Dennis tonight and he said dogs on his string swept the OGD.

I don't remember them all but Bandit was first, Slipknot second, Deja (gordon) was third and I think Joker was fourth.

Ruger won the OLGD and Cooper was third.

Do they post the final results anywhere? I used to find them at AKC link, but it seems that they do not update the final results.
