Probably a Limited Gun Dog stake that pays $500 to the winner.

There isn't a Limited Gun Dog Stake at the Eastern Iowa trial, I checked the AKC site. :?

That is what it is, an NGSPA 1 hour shooting dog event.

Good stake normally.

It has been raining in eastern Iowa for two days straight. I have heard reports of some areas getting around 4 inches so far, and the only day in the forecast that they are not predicting rain is Sunday. :( I hope your dogs can handle soggy birds.

I just heard from one of my clients before his cell cut us off but know it is muddy as heck there and the sun did manage to come out today. I know that Jerry Alden's two pups (littermate male & female "Addy" by my Toby x Hud) received 1st~Addy and 2nd went to the male, can't remember who he said wen't 3rd & 4th. The GD was won by Jill w/ Rich Barber, 1st & 2nd in the AA was withheld and Dennis Brath w/Stacy & Art Armbrust with someone went 3rd & 4th. Believe Dennis & Art also got placements in the OGD as well. Sorry I didn't get more info for you all.

He also told me they drew 21 for the Hawkeye SD Championship that starts in the morning with ~

1st Brace~ Bob~ Heath Kooima Pete~Rich Barber

Will keep you posted with all that I hear.

Thanks

I thought it ended yesterday. Thanks for the update. Probably why Dennis hasn't answered his phone today.
