Paul sure did an awesome job handling dogs 5 placements and placed one dog in both venues

Yes, Paul did accomplsihed a great feat taking 65% of the placements with only 10% of the entries being Brittanys.
And that Shane dog defeated 200 dogs in just over a week, I do not think that has ever been done before. The pointer Bonifide came close with the Illinois and Eygption back to back, then the Alabama the same month, beating nearly 300 dogs in 30 days and it got him in the hall of fame.
You would have to have over-lapping trials to do it, and I do not recall any of that size.
This should also help dispell the myth that Britts won't retrieve.

The number of entries on AKC's page aren't right but congrats to all of the winners~ it was tough conditions out there!
There were 4 GWP's (not 7) entered and since there were only 103 total entries in the non ret stake, there could not have been 134 GSP's
In a way it's kinda funny, it's AKC's event and they screwed up their own paperwork!

That is there were 4 GWP's in one stake and 3 in another, same for GSP's, there were 60 something in the R and 60 something in the N-R for a total of 134.
It is that way every year, I wish AKC would fix it. You can get the number of entries from the running order (there were 70 GSP's and 6 Brittanys entered in the Retrieving stake), but there is no way to calculate the number of starters.
