United Bird Hunters National Champion

United Bird Hunters held their first National Championship, held at Camp Robinson north of Conway Arkansas March 25-28 2009. There were 32 of the best walking bird dog in the country representing NC, SC, GA, FL,AR. and MO. The Hunting dog event was a 1 hour event with a 30 minute call back of the top 8 dogs. The Hunting Dog National Champion was named as Pretty Boy Roy, pointer male, owned and handled by Scott Graham of Carthage Missouri. Pretty Boy Roy had 7 finds in the hour, with 3 finds in the call back. Scott also garnered the Derby National Chanpionship with Jack a pointer male. The National Champion puppy (Jackie) pointer female was owned and handled by Larry McGuire of Greenfield Missouri. The United Bird Hunters will be kicking off its second season in September.
