The Eastern iowa AKC Trial begins tomorrow. Anyone going to be out in Palo?
I will be heading out to Palo tomorrow afternoon.

I live about 25 miles north of the grounds so I may slip in and watch a few braces. I can tell ya this bring the rain gear as will be raining all weekend, actually raining pretty hard right now. Althou we could use a little shot of rain, it is not good for these grounds as the course is mostly in a bowl area so it gets pretty wet. Supposed to clear off by monday for the classic but rain again in the forcast tues and wed.

I'm in Shellsburg getting ready to head over to the trial grounds. Rain stopped last night and it appears that we my skate by with little or no rain today.........but who knows. I will find out who placed in the OLGD yesterday.

I don't know the rest of the placements, but my GWP, Louie, got 3rd in the OLGD, handled by Jim West.
I would love to see a bracing sheet if anyone has one they could post?

Tippy - Vande Hei won the OLGD and I think PRetty Boy - Dave Walker took 2nd. Our puppy "Blaze" got a third in the OD. I also know Katie Tazza's dog "Shadow" won the OD with Dave Walker

It's killing me that I can't be there to watch him run. He's been real consistent out there, placing in every stake he's run in so far... but darn it.. he needs a Blue to finish his DC!!!!! Apparently he's made the transition to that kind of country ok. If you are there, go give him a pep talk for me.......and tell him his mama misses him around here.
