Region 8 Championship

Region 8 starts this Thursday. Who from here is going???

I believe the Region 8 started yesterday, but have not heard anything from out West. Anyone know when the drew and what the running order is?

Open AA ran yesterday with 1 brace left this morning. It is my understanding only 2 dogs through clean. Drew the ASD last nite that starts this morning. Clean dogs I believe were Hanna and Penny. Windy conditions yesterday did not help / but it is Wyoing! Wont be back up til this weekend.

Spoke with Dennis this morning and he won the AA with Penny. Our Abbie had a nice race found her standing after 30+ minutes of looking. No bird. It probably died from boredom waiting for the handler to flush it. :mrgreen: Weather is good today with no wind but it is early. OSD will most likely start on Wed. They are going to run the ASD then the Derby before the OSD.

Open Shooting Dog champion was Texas Hoosier Girl, Indy is her name. Owned by Kirk and Trry Bomere of Houston and handled by Pat Waresk. Dual sanctioned AKC and AF and a 5 point major and one hour combined with a retrieve.

Very happy for the Bomer's and Pat for doing a great job.

The Derby went to Dave King ( Royalerun Kennels ) with a Cole Bier son, I believe his name was Trooper , 2nd place went to my dog Blayzee ( avatar dog ) and 3rd went to Prairie Winds Back to Zack ( Biz ...

ASD went to Prairie Winds Mya ...

OAA went to Prairie Winds Commupance "Penny" ...
