FT season getting into the spring swing

Post by RayGubernat » Tue Jan 11, 2011 1:15 pm

Local field trials are beginning to start up.

Maryland Sporting Dog Assn is hosting and AF sanctioned trial on Feb 5 and 6 at the C & R Center at Petersburg, DE. A full slate of walking and horseback events is scheduled.

The following weekend the Diamond State GSP club is sponsoring a two day hunt test.

C'mon down and check them out. You might just like some of what you see.

There will be a wrangler at the Maryland trial for those who wish to follow the action or participate in the horseback stakes. The Maryland Association trial has a reputation for being easy on newcomers, especially in the walking stakes. It might be a good place to get your feet wet, so to speak.

thanks for the info Ray, unfortunately I have a Nstra event that weekend otherwise I would be there for sure.
The second kick from a mule is of very little educational value - from Wing and Shot.

Where is the NSTRA event being held? Good luck and have fun.
There are never enough weekends.
