Great group of people and a great way for someone that is wanting to find out a little about trialing or hunt tests. Cheap way to get your dog on some birds and extend the hunting season. Who knows the bug might bite you and you will find something that you were meant to do. The people that will be at this event are knowledgable and willing to help newbies learn. I encourage everyone that can make it to get to this event, have fun and meet some new friends.

Can you see much as a spectator at one of these if a person was just wanting to see what it was all about?

As someone that has never ran a test or trial in my life I talked to Linn about this and am taking one of the dogs just to see how it goes. Sounds like not only a good time but a chance to learn a few things and I need all the help I can get.

The way the grounds are set up there, you might be able to see some of the Walking Field Trial dogs - which is just across the road - but usually the "hunting dog challenge" is a little difficult to see. If you come out on Sunday, you can walk along with my dogs. I'll be running two of them in the Hunting Dog Challenge. My name is Elsa and I'll be bringing a Vizsla, a very skinny English Pointer and maybe a GSP. I will be in the Quail Forever apparel.
