First, you need $32.

Yup. They accept the AKC Pedigree.

So I don't need to win any events to enter the championship.. is that only the nationals I'm thinking about?

You have to qualify.

So what I found is my dog has to be in the FDSB. To run in the nationals the dog has to qualify (cool too late for that anyway) but no where in that site have I found anything about qualifying to enter a regional championship for let's say region 9. So besides FDSB registration what do I need besides a handler to take her there? Do I need a win in any events or is it just an entry fee? I know DNA but that's only if they place 1 or 2.

There was a previous post on this. Wagonmaster explained the NGSPA rules, but I can't find it. Your dog needs a win in an AF scantioned field trial in order to quailify for any NGSPA championships. An AF sanctioned trial can be a local AKC trial that is also sanctioned by AF. You can find these trials advertised in the Field.
6xCH, 2xRU CH FC Alpenblick's Southern Bell

NGSPA CH, FC Cruzin's Probable Cause "Mac"

3xCH, NGPDA NC, FC Cruzin's Rocket Queen "Roxy"

Pineland's Streak "Sadie"

Cruzin's Moneymaker "Penny"

You can download the form from The Field's site. Remember to chop off the tail on the markings map!!
