***SD RESULTS*** 2011 NBHA Northern Plains SD Classic

1st Dale Creek Rail (left) - Tom Waite
2nd Romeo's Attitude (right) - O/Dave Matthews H/Tom Waite
3rd Dixie - Buck Daniels
Dogs in contention in order of brace number.
FS Interesting Linda, Pinehill Silent Echo, Reba, FS Drama Queen
The course offered a LOT of bird contacts (liberated quail and a few surprise hen pheasants and woodcock), which became tough on dogs. They will finish the derby today. We were able to get a few in yesterday. Hifive's Passing Time and Zya had a great brace. And Dan had one of the largest runs (SD or Derby), but with no bird work.
A BIG thank you goes to 3 of the hardest working pros in the Midwest...Tom Waite, Buck Daniels and Bruce/Jenny Minard for bringing their string of dogs. Even though this trial was something new for Hifive's dogs, we GREATLY appreciated them being there and it was a BLAST spending time with Bruce and Jenny. Jenny is a hardworking WALKING scout...she finally got me to WALK a brace with her at the end. I think my horse was happy she did, and so was I.
