GSPC of Nebraska FT 8/27-8/28

Post by original mngsp » Thu Aug 25, 2011 2:29 pm

I'm gonna head out of here around 8:00 AM tomorrow, go get the horse and make my way down to Branched Oak.

Anyone else gonna be there?

When I talked to Steve H on Tuesday he said they had about 80 entries.

I am in Omaha working due to the hail storm, and actually get a day off on Sunday, how far is this from Omaha?

It's north west of Lincoln, just past Branch Oak Lake Park. Can't be there this month. Too many other things happening.

What do you think the chances of a horse being available to borrow/rent are?

To rent slim to none. Borrow most likely. If I could get there you'd be more than welcome to ride one of mine. Just ask someone.

It is a litte better here in Ne. Mid to high 80's, in the afternoon, really still too hot turn but you know field trialers. Mornings are in the upper 60's, so manageable.

Any placements ? I had heard the gun dog stake was like 34 or 35 dogs but the rest of the stakes were quite small in numbers.
