No, I am headed over to the nagdc, gotta cheer on my pups ma :) Go pixie.

Good luck on your dog, he gets to see some fine country. I been to temecula, it was kinda hot and my cousin was braggin on her lawn, all 12 feet of it :) She about crapped when I told her I mow 4 acres of yard.

Well if ya get a chance to come out this way, let me know. Meeting new folks is always a nice thing.

I would love to go out and run her but... with a new job an existing wife not practical. I would fly out for the nationals but seeing the drawing does not happen until last minute I can't do that either. If I knew the scar date to run her I could probably work out the time off situation. At least she gets to run and have fun while I work.

They draw along time before the event. It's AF they do the drawing the night before.

Sorry. Seeing how it is a national event I would have thought the drawing would take place well in advance. If you were to run Amature you would have a approximate notice of 10 days to arrange travel plans.... open gun dog won't even be known until the running of all age... just sayin it ends up being last minute.

They have this whole event very well organized. You can pretty much figure out when to be there one what days. They will have the drawing well in advance.

I thought we were talking about the AKC events at branched oaks and the NAGDC in Iowa? the nagdc has a list on their website showing the running order so far.

Well maybe someday you can get out here and have some fun :)

Maybe someday.

I was referring to the nationals in KS. Where they are running Amature, Derby/futurity, then AA and then open gun dog. Could last 21 days.

The Nationals in Eureka can be pretty much laid out if you want to attend. They'll have all the running orders posted as such and possible what days it will run. Depending on the number of entries of each stake.

I see, and yes they are different. 21 days of dogs is a long run.
