Highland, MI hunt test 4/21

Anyone from NW Ohio going to the hunt test this coming weekend at Highland. I'll be there on Saturday for the GWP club test.

Yes, with the nice weather. It has really sucked here lately and my dogs are not liking it.

As far as I know, the next one I'll be in is June 2 and 3 at the Keaton Farm in Central/North Central Ohio. It will be sponsored by the Miami Valley Vizsla Club.

Did you end up training this weekend????

I did not it was so windy and crappy. I have alot going on anyway. I am going to be doing alot more now the weather is breaking plus I have some dogs to look at that I am going to take to train. Then I won't even have a choice to train or not.

I'll let you know about riding when the order comes out. I may leave from Highland to go to Pennsylvania. I need to be out in PA next week for business.

Brammy is in brace 6, Gunther is in 8. I'm good with meeting you and driving up together. I'll come back to I-80 to go east anyway.

Rog & I ran the last brace together.

Gunther now has 2 legs done, scored 9-8-8-8. Roghatch unfortunatly ran out of time before his dog pointed a bird. I shouldn't have let Gunther point 3 of the 4 birds planted. I tried to keep him away but I didn't want to loose points by yelling commands at him. Gunther also decided to hit the bird field and point before we had walked the course.

Nice try Roghatch. Brammy really looks to be improving, she seemed to range a little farther than she has been.

I see you didn't mention the point Brammy V stole from Gunther on the last bird. We will need to work on that next time out training.

I did forget to mention it. I was kinda suprised Gunther held point even tho she came in. When you going to be back? I know this weekend I can't train but I should be able to the following weekend.

I won't be back until Monday. Turkey season starts in PA this Saturday so I'll stay for it. May be the next weekend.
