Are you going or are you going to have a dog there?

New Thread started is the purpose. Someone else might have a chance since John and Spot is not going.

The championship was well attended and they had 28 open shooting dogs, I saw Briar and she was very nice.

End to end performance was pretty scarce, lots of bird and lost dogs.

Derby was ran in the rain yesterday and my boy J R did a very nice job and won the thing. 15 months old and 3 finds and a very nice forward approach to the stake. Made me very happy for sure.

Amateur started this morning at 8am and I ran and drove 500 miles home.

The winners of the Amateur Shooting Dog:

Champion - Tulli's Scatback (Selena) Joe Amatulli O/H
RU Ch.- Dulac's Mr Dependable (Doc) Tom Tubergen O/H

In talking this over with some of the experienced people on the GSP circuit, I understand this is Selena's 32nd hour championship win, and I am pretty sure that is a record for most hour wins by a dog in a career.

Gives us all something to shoot for.

A very big congratulations to Joe Amatulli and Selena.
