NGSPA Region 7 Championships in Freer, TX

Well I just talked with Keith and Sarah Messer. The ASD drew 22 dogs. Guess they were breaking for lunch or something but had gone through 5 braces and their talking about running 2-3 more this afternoon. Guess it's in the 80's again today w/ no breeze. Things weren't going good for anybody this morning the way it sounded. I'll keep you posted the best I can.

Bill all I know is that they finished the ASD around noon and were awaiting placements then they were going to start the AA. Think Keith said the AA drew 14-16 dogs, said "it would run this afternoon and tomorrow hoping to be done around noon then I think he said they'd start the SD and it would run a couple days". As soon as I hear something on placements and how many AA they got ran this morning I'll be sure and post.

any news ASD winner. Just got back from judging weekend trial down there. Nice facilities but hot & windy.

Robbi Keith is having fun fishing but looks like he'll have to go work today. I like that 1st colt on horses section. How is he doing? Smoth Temp?

Shooting Dog will run tomorrow & Friday. Very hot in the 90's, dry and dusty. All I know for now.

Shooting dog drew 32 dogs so 16 braces. Keith said "they ran 8 today starting @ 7:30 am and finishing around 6-6:30 pm" also said they'll have another full 8 hr day tomorrow (Friday) unless some of the braces go shorter. Still horriably dry and dusty and bird work is very low. Believe he told me in the AA the two winners were the only ones with bird work. I'll post tomorrow night as soon as I hear from Keith and he tells me who won. I know he's very anxious to get back home and out of the hot and dusty/dry as it's killing his sinuses.

Just talked to Keith, He and Phil are on their way to San Antonio to spend the night and catch early flights.

Keith finally made it home this early evening after 2 plane delays and missing of one flight.
