These clubs held back to back AKC Walking field trials Feb 19-22 and they are to be commended for a fine job at their first attempts at field trials on these grounds! Grounds were in Petersburg, Indiana at the Pike County Bird Hunters Assoc. NICE grounds for a walking trial! Great facilities. Great food too all provided by the Pike County Bird Hunters.

Weather didn't always cooperate but everyone prevailed and seemed to have a good time. Our kids were a bit rusty after a few months off but Jet managed a 2nd out of a tough 22 starter OGD on Thursday. Joey did a good job in both Open Derby's he ran in but no ribbons. Flynn goofed on Thursday but then handler error caused the pickup on Saturday and he was doing a slamming nice job unfortunately. Maybe next time Flynners! Tilly- well she's green and that's all I'll say about that! LOL!

The two clubs involved did a great job and were pleasant to work with. Hopefully they will continue to hold trials on these grounds. We got into the game after trialing stopped on state grounds in Indiana. Hopefully clubs can find more places like this to start holding trials in the state again! Kristi
