Events in Jan - early Feb?

Hi All and Happy Holidays to you.

An acquaintance of mine is visiting the US and will be attending the hunting and outdoor shows held in various parts of the US in Jan and Feb. He owns GSPs and would like to attend a field trial or two. Are there any events, AKC, NGSPA, NSTRA or other, held in the following areas at this time? Obviously he would prefer events where GSPs are competing, if at all possible.

Jan 1 - 9 - Washington DC area

Jan 11 - 13 - Austin, South Texas area

Jan 18 -23 - Reno NV area

Feb 3 - 6 - Seattle WA area

Feb 8 - 14 - Salt Lake area

If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated! Thanks so much.

Looks to be right before he plans to be in NV but might work out depending on travel from TX. Should be NSTRA events in TX during that time.

There are some trials at Ardmore, OK during the period he is going to be in Texas that are too far (by Texas standards),

Hi Brenda. No NGSPA's in the areas you want that time of year. The upcoming NGSPA's are the Savannah River and the accompanying Regional, which are in your neck of the woods and usually middle-end of Jan., the Reg. 7 which is in Freer, TX in mid-Feb., the Quail which is at Armore (OK) and the Reg 12 which is in AZ in Jan. If any are of interest your friend can check them out on the website, www.ngspa.org
