  Yah, that's right!! Of course the story would be better if I'd ever actually been called by anyone!! :D

I was shocked to see this and trying to sort it out but for the record, the only person I ever heard from regarding this trial was my buddy Rich contacted me months ago saying he was contacted about us going out and judging. He got me the dates and I told him I couldn't do it (it conflicts with our Everton Derby/Reg. 9 SD/Idaho Open that I'm judging/organizing/working my tail off/etc this week), end of story - it was the last I ever heard about it until I saw my name mentioned in this thread this morning. Called Rich to see what the deal is but haven't heard back yet. I've never been called, been left a message, got an email, etc by anyone affiliated with the trial ever so not sure where Ned's getting his info...Ned?? If someone has a number of who to call regarding this trial, pretty sure Rich was talking to Eldon, please forward it to me and see if we can figure out what the scoop is.
Hope it's not to hot for ya Doc......

I'm pretty darn sure this is just a communication deal Ned, and I think I can say I know Doc, and Rich both well enought that they sure would'nt sandbag on something like that at all. NGSPA website still has them listed as judges but it's not uncommon to see changes made.
I'm sure they have got it all figured out.

But if anyones got news on the trial, would love to hear it.

I got my information from Eldon Hongo who asked me to fill in as a judge the first week in September.

Just got off the phone with Mike Aldrich, all's good - signals crossed somewhere along the line but crisis averted, they're about half way done with the SD I think he said.

I find the best way to sort out any communication issue is to post second hand information on the internet.

I would like to Thank Keith Gulledge for running my dog Trey (FC BDK's Chloe's Jax of all Trades) and Robbi Gulledge for scouting. They did a fantastic job. He ran a big foward race with a covey find on Prairie Chickens. I did not get to see the second place dog run, which ran after my dog had completed his run. I had a horse accident where I got knocked out, with concussion and most likely have a couple broken ribs. It took me three days to recover enough so I could drive home and now I am off to see the doctor tomorrow. Dave and Hayley Killiam do a fantastic job of putting on the Prairie Chicken Championship at their ranch in Nebraska. This is a true championship that is run on entirely wild birds. Some great dogs ran in this Championship dogs from all over the country competing. There contestants from both west and east coasts attending. The pros were Eldon Hongo, Dennis Brath, Keith Gulledge and Dave King. There were several amateurs also running in the Shooting Dog. If I forget anyone please forgive, I know there was many more that helped run this trial. There was a total of 43 entries. The stake started on Monday and Finished Friday Noon. :D

Congratulations to Brooks, BDK, and Trey...sounds like there is some serious competition and running on straight wild birds makes it that much more impressive. Sounds like Trey has a great future ahead of him...can't wait to hear about it. Congratulations again :!:

Hope you get feeling back to normal in no time...

I just returned from the Prairie Chicken and have to echo what Brooks stated. Lots of wild birds and great fun.
