Mine ran today... blaaa. If I ever do it again, Remind me to never run a 1 year old in a national event. Save a lot of money and don't make yourself or the trainer look like they clicked the wrong button and entered in gun dog instead of futurity lol. There's always next year.

Heard that Dohse had a slammer in the 3rd with Lady, 5 finds, big forward race, 2 limb finds. Sound like they are all playing for 2nd.

Makes me happy knowing she will be sleeping on the couch next week after we get done chasing wild birds! Can't disappoint me with what she has done in her short time at field trials.

Got to love nationals. One year a dog of mine ran 100 yards off the line, stopped for a wild flush while the other dog kept moving. The other handled flies off his horse yelling and starts shooting, who knows why. A step later we were headed back to camp, oh well. A little luck always helps.

I actually got a call in to see how my dogs foot was doing. I was told it was raining yesterday and possibly snow tonight. Said the stake would be over on Friday... cell coverage sucks... if anyone hears about call backs please post.

I was told they ran brace 40 for the last one of the day yesterday and will finish sometime Friday.

The Bomer's male dog Bud, did not run yesterday and he was to be in brace 38 the 1st this morning.

I bet the folks sitting there for 3 weeks are ready to be out of there.

Heard Chad Inderman won with "Betty". "Betty" is by NFC/FC Chisholm Creeks Cuttin Loose and Slick Renegade Lady. "Lady" also produced this years Futurity winner. Congrats Chad!
