Thank you all who attended our HT in FL!

The NFGSPC Hunt Test March 3 & 4 up at Masaryktown, FL was very successful not only due to the butt-busting work by the Judges (Don Bonnice & Len Hutto on Sat; Marisa Bryant & Stephanie Daugherty on Sun) but also through the tireless efforts of Kary Jorgensen (bird planting) Dave Jorgensen (gunning/bird planting) and Dan Vozenilek (gunning/bird planting). Honourable mention also goes to Bob Erbe (bird delivery/planting) and Debbie DeMello (“emergency” food run).

Don & Len put in an particularly demanding day in the saddle on Sat with our HT running from 7:30 am to ~3:30 pm in temperatures topping out at 86F.They then handled the Suncoast GWP Match Test afterwards. Maybe there should be a "Titanium Tuchas" award for Judges?

Sunday, was almost as long a day, but was the complete opposite weather wise. The day was blustery and cool, with the threat of rain & winds gusting to 50mph. It was so windy, we couldn’t even BBQ lunch, forcing Debbie into her “emergency” mad dash to the top of the hill and back to cook the hotdogs.

Meanwhile, it was heartening to see so many of the pointing breeds being represented this weekend: Brittanys, Vizslas, GWPs, EPs, Gordons, Weims… even a couple of GSPs!

In the end there were a lot of good dogs and good people enjoying a great weekend outdoors in FL. What more could you want?

P.S.: a big "thank you" to Field Event Software for the excellent product. Even though all the entries resulted in a ton of administration, the program allowed us to focus on the EVENT and not on the paperwork. Thanks, Don!!!
