We are going to have some fun. Good food, good friends. Good runs.

If the food is good you shouldn't have the runs abd it probably wouldn't be fun.

I am currently on location at the 2012 NAGDC in PA. For those coming in on PA 453 from I 99 use caution. The town of Tyrone has a few congested corners. Then the next 8 miles is a steep winding narrow road. Please use caution. Once you see the sign for Warriors Mark Wingshooting Lodge, take the driveway to the right at the sign. Once you arrive at the location I think you will like it. I think the people from the mid-west will be very pleased.

Is that route coming in going to be ok for a 4 horse slant Ken? My trailer specifically? That's how it looks like is my best route in just from the map....
I'll be watching all the braces scribing Frank and I think we are going to set up a temporary FB page perhaps, to report the braces throughout, but I'm not 100% sure on what we'll be doing just yet. I also believe Arlene will be updating on the Chronicle's site for us as well.

The road is OK for your rig. It is just long and winding with no place to pull off and let trafic past. Just take it easy going up the hill and watch your tranny temp.

Thanx for the insight Ken, I think I've had my rig up over that once before, but it's been awhile and I couldn't remember for sure.

Looks like the last brace of the day was also a good one, Tucker with three finds and Duke with 2.

Also heard Caleb Bryson had a find with one of his, he ran three so I won't speculate who had a find.

Looks like half the dogs had opportunity for bird work. That's a lot more encouraging than the initial report I heard.

Too bad sounds like my dog checked out.

Sounds like some dogs are finding birds today, I know Tim Molony's Jameson had 4 finds and a retrieve on course.

Nice trial and nice grounds. We unfortunately went birdless (along with several other fine dogs), however I was very happy with tux's run and application. Think we could have been in consideration to make the 2nd series had we had a bird (if only the ones my scout saw counted). Grounds provided opportunity for a dog to fill up the country and stretch their legs between objectives. Good luck to all in the second series.

I don't have a running order in front of me but I beleive this will be posted shortly on GSPCA website

Second series

Wyatt -- Sensinger
Sioux -- Tazza
Tucker --- Hazel
Raven -- Hazel
Miley -- Parietti
Jameson -- Molony
Tampa-- Kitts
Greta -- Nicholson
Jesse -- Speigel
Dolph -- Schmeider

This is not in bracing order. I am just going of my memory...but these are the 10 dogs.

Great event, GREAT bunch of dogs and great folks. I should have all my finalized reports typed, edited and hopefully it will be put up on the website by the end of the week for all.

Wyatt had a Junior Hunter/Puppy moment on Jon yesterday, when a Chukar wild flushed up in his face at 15, as he came down an edge to check back in with the wind at his back and raining. The bird popped a foot in front of him and he started skidding to stop and as he looked up, it was one of those "Matrix" birds that just hung there suspended right above his head in slow motion and Wyatt said "Oh he!! yea you know I gotta try!", as he launched up in the air and took a shot at a grab!

At least we know he's still having FUN! :P  8)

CONGRATS to all!
