Read the reports from the other events up in Marienville, bird numbers look good on all courses looks like a great opportunity to try something new on wild birds.

How well did this trial go? How was the attendance? Who were the dogs that won, placed and showed? Thanks in advance for any info.

Thanks guys for the nice comments...Dolph-man is my dog of a lifetime....Hope he will be in the Grand Cover Trial ,if Oakridge can get enough qualified dogs to enter in 2014.

Oakridge is going to try a 1hr. limited open gun stake in the spring with a pay out $...... Hope you can all attended March 23-24 trial

This was a fun trial with lots of bird work..All eight 1hr. courses produced birds...A total of 14 birds worked and more birds seen on course...My Hanna had a 4 bird flush.
She got pretty happy with all the birds flushing and flagged her way to 4th..I'm glad the judges used her

Derby was one heck of a match up 14 hard hitting dogs....Bruce Shaffer and Frank Walters did a great job and i bet i was a tough stake to judge.

Puppy had a great show too...Here is the running order.

Thanks everyone for you interest... Ron

The number was the same in Gun Dog...We didn't have any puppys last year and only 4 derby..Had a way better showing for the younger dogs which AKC cover trial needs.
