Anyone at the Invitional please post a running order and keep us filled in. If possible.

Heavy fog has delayed today's running.

Running orders with Owners and handlers would be nice once in a while. Not everyone is in the know and a list of call names doesn't do much for most folks. I'd say this trial is one of the most prestigious of the NGSPA. The AF guys just had theirs in Kentucky and a couple of folks put in a lot of effort to give background on the dogs, and a drawing with complete information. Then it was followed up with a great deal of information from the trial and even input from one of the judges without disclosing information that should be kept between judges.

A little effort could go a long way for the NGSPA circuit to promote itself.

Zephyr, what you posted was much appreciated :D :D ! I really doubt MillerClemson was calling you out for that, but rather pointing out that it seems strange that there is so little coverage by the NGSPA itself.

I didn't find much on their website, and couldn't even find the list of invited dogs. I understand the difficulties in reception sometimes, and that officials are busy. But.....??

Good luck to everyone 8)

bhulisa,

Thank you.

I am not at the trial nor do I have a dog there. I was just trying to post what little information I had.

So here's another tidbit:

The top 4 dogs they are calling back tomorrow are Jake- Hank Lewis, Sadie- Chris Bryant and Josh Nieman , Tyler with Dennis Brath and Nell with Eldon and Terry Hongo......

For people that don't know, Hank Lewis is an amateur running his own dog,Tyler is owned by Jean Kelly, Nell is owned by the Killams and I'm not sure if Chris owns Sadie.

Registered names may be difficult. Most dogs are dual registered and as in my case may be different from AKC and AF.

Sadie is owned by Keith Bryant, Chris's dad. Josh Niemen is the trainer.

Zephyr,

I assure you my comment was not directed at you.

I just don't understand how one of the biggest and what should be one of the most respected NGSPA trials of the year, can't publish a decent running order. All kinds of clubs can get it done for a weekend trial, that have quite a few more than 12 dogs. My point is if our little club gets more hits on FB for a running order or placements for a weekend stake than number of views for this thread then the Invitational is not getting the attention it deserves. I know a whole lot more about the dogs and results of the Quail Invitational than I do about this one.
